The way he is driven by an inner desire to create, the minimalism, the constraints he puts on himself to maximise his creativity and output. Truly inspirational. There's definitely some artist who feel that way. Jack White comes to mind. He'll deliberately use restrictions(like writing music for only two instruments) and even physically obstruct things at live performances. See this (very good) interview with Conan: [VIDEO]
