From the video description

Private equity drives 60–70% of B2B SaaS acquisitions, and the firms are far less alike than they look. Einar Vollset runs Discretion Capital, a B2B SaaS M&A advisory, and co-founded TinySeed. At MicroConf Europe 2025 in Istanbul, Einar broke down the acquirer type most founders misread: private equity. Every PE website says roughly the same thing about building trust and realizing potential, but behind that sameness sit fundamentally different strategies with enormous variance in both willingness and ability to pay. Vollset sorts them into six categories and explains which ones you want in a process, and how founders end up talking only to the buyers who pay least.
