From the video description

Supabase supports PostGIS extension, which enables us to store and query geographical data. In this video, we will look at how we can store the latitude and longitude location data using a geographic point column, how to set an index on the column, how to query locations inside a bounding box, and how to sort the result from closest to farthest so that you can use them in the next map-based app you build.
