Let's look at how the layout of NextJS's image component works using lots of examples! The next/image layout can be somewhat unintuitive initially, so I created a tutorial for it. We look in depth at the options 'fill', 'responsive', 'intrinsic' and 'fixed'. I show you why I personally prefer fill and intrinsic over the responsive and fixed layout options.
